Breaking News : Alabama terminate contract of 4-star LB in class of 2025

Alabama football received its second linebacker commitment in as many days on Thursday. Abduall Sanders, a four-star prospect from California, has committed to the Crimson Tide’s 2025 recruiting class.

Sanders is regarded as the No. 36 linebacker in the class according to the 247Sports composite ranking. He is regarded as the class’s No. 334 player.

He announced the news on social media on Thursday, in collaboration with Hayes Fawcett of On3 Sports. Sanders chose Alabama over Tennessee, UCLA, and Baylor, among other options.

Sanders attends Santa Ana Mater Dei High School and plays football there. He stands 6-foot-2 and weighs 210 pounds.

With Sanders’ addition, Alabama’s 2025 recruiting class moved up to No. 8 in the 247Sports composite rankings. He finished as the seventh best player in the class.

Alabama was ranked tenth before his acquisition. The move put the Tide ahead of Texas Tech and Wisconsin.

Sanders was named the second linebacker in the 2025 group. He joins Darrell “Duke” Johnson, who revealed his decision to join the Crimson Tide on Wednesday.
