Latest news: NBA legend Allen Iverson sent a heartfelt message to Iowa star Caitlin Clark Before the NCAA Tournament

Before the NCAA Tournament, Allen Iverson sent Caitlin Clark of Iowa a heartfelt message: “She’s everything.”

In preparation for the NCAA Tournament, Iowa women’s basketball player Caitlin Clark has received a poignant note of support from NBA superstar Allen Iverson.

Iverson showed great admiration for Clark in an interview with Robin Lundberg of Sports Illustrated, describing her as the embodiment of what the game looks for in a player.

“She is everything.” Iverson remarked, “She’s everything we want in our sport.” She is the ideal example of what we should aspire to. Hell no, whether she’s a man, a woman, or anything else. She is a class act both on and off the court.

Clark is an outstanding player for the Iowa Hawkeyes, and her remarkable accomplishments have already made her name in college basketball history. Even with her achievements—she broke score records in both the men’s and women’s divisions—Clark is still vying for the coveted national championship.

But Clark and the Hawkeyes’ road to championship glory won’t be simple. Iowa was listed by ESPN as one of the “losers” in the bracket announcement, citing difficult matches and disparities in size as possible obstacles. Clark has difficult obstacles in her path to victory, including a challenging battle against UCLA or LSU in the Elite Eight and a possible third meeting versus Kansas State.
