Done deal: AC Milan has finally signed Jakub Kiwior Worth €95 million

AC Milan has finally signed Jakub Kiwior Worth €95 million

With AC Milan showing interest in Jakub Kiwior, Arsenal shouldn’t consider selling him this summer.

In January of last year, the Poland international paid €25 million to join the team from Spezia. His efforts in the second part of the season were underwhelming.

This time, Kiwior encountered a similar circumstance, but he was able to turn things around in the last several months. From the left back position, the 24-year-old has been quite reliable.

According to today’s Gazzetta dello Sport (page 10), AC Milan is still interested in signing Kiwior, but Arsenal is unlikely to reduce the €25 million that Spezia will have to pay.

The newspaper said that the Gunners could be ready to sell.

Kiwior’s efforts in Spezia helped to establish his reputation. At the World Cup, he performed admirably for Poland as well. This was what made the Gunners decide to hire him the previous year.

The former Anderlecht player had a difficult start to his English football career, but in the last few months, he has settled well and has started to play frequently at left back.

Although Kiwior is primarily a left-sided center back, he has performed admirably in that position.

With Ben White having the liberty to press forward from right-back, Kiwior has largely focused on his defensive responsibilities which have brought the best out of him this year.

The Pole has one goal and three assists since February, but he has also struck the eye with his passing, ability to win aerial duels and attention in defensive situations.

Since the New Year, Kiwior has undoubtedly responded to his detractors, and in our opinion, the club shouldn’t consider having him go.
