Lakers General Manager Rob Pelinka Announced His Resignation and Further Explain His Decision

The Atlanta Hawks are in tenth place in the Eastern Conference with a season record of 30-38, while the Los Angeles Lakers are ninth in the Western Conference with a 37-32 record. The Lakers ended up winning 136-105 over the Hawks.

D’Angelo Russell led the squad in scoring throughout the game with 27 points, 4 rebounds, and 10 assists. LeBron James finished the game with 25 points, 7 rebounds, and 10 assists, ranking second in the scoring. 22 points, 15 rebounds, and 6 assists were contributed by Anthony Davis.

Austin Reaves finished with 12 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists, while Rui Hachimura finished with 17 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist. Regarding the Hawks, Jalen Johnson

Dejounte Murray finished with 13 points, 5 rebounds, and 10 assists, while Bogdan Bogdanovic contributed 17 points and 3 rebounds. With one assist and one rebound, Vit Krejci contributed 11 points to the total.

Jalen Johnson dunked on Reaves during the game. LeBron dropped the ball during one of the first plays, and guard Dejounte Murray recovered it. The All-Star quickly handed the ball to Johnson, who bounded down the floor. Following his ball steal and dribble, Johnson sprinted towards the rim, cleared Reaves, and finished the slam.

In response to the Lakers reporter’s statement during the game that “it would be negligent not to ask you” regarding the dunk, Reaves teasingly said, “See, this is why I don’t like you.”

“Everyone seen what happened, you don’t want my view,” Reaves continued.

Following their matchup with the Philadelphia 76ers, the Los Angeles Lakers will square off against the Indiana Pacers.
