Heart full of Joy As Boston Celtics celebrates 82 years anniversary on……
The news that former Boston Celtics All-Star point guard Isaiah Thomas will be joining the Salt Lake City Stars in the NBA G-League recently thrust him back into the spotlight. When Thomas arrived, he didn’t take long to make an impression. In his debut game with the squad, the former Celtics player scored 32 points.
Howard posted a series of fire emojis along with the words, “it’s ok if they give up just don’t ever give up on yourself,” on his X account, which was once known as Twitter.
Isaiah Thomas made a name for himself in the NBA as one of the best players in terms of production per yard, especially during his time with the Celtics. Despite being only 5’10”, Thomas used a number of clever tricks and moves to get to his spots. He was the best player on a 2017 Celtics team that made it all the way to the Eastern Conference Finals before losing to LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Naturally, Thomas was then sent to those Cavaliers in the offseason, and he would go on to play for a number of NBA clubs while battling a number of difficult injuries. In the meantime, Dwight Howard has returned to full strength in Taiwan following his 2020 NBA Bubble championship win with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Regardless, it’s encouraging to see the two former All-Stars still having a positive impact.
