Anthony Spencer, Dwayne Harris are set to release from Cowboys just in….
The Dallas Cowboys are adding a seasoned defensive lineman back to the roster prior to the start of the free agency period. Carl Davis, a journeyman defensive tackle who may not be well-known to fans, looks to be returning to Dallas.
Patrik Walker, a writer for DallasCowboys.com, broke the story first on March 6. In addition to playing for a number of clubs, Davis was a member of the Cowboys in 2023.
Just in time for 2024 NFL free agency, nose tackle Carl Davis was added to the #Cowboys roster. Walker scribbled on X, “All in.” “After playing in three games for the #Cowboys in 2023, Carl Davis is back.” He was previously selected by the Ravens (2015) in the third round out of Iowa.
Since Davis only made three appearances last year and only played thirty defensive snaps, there isn’t much to say about his 2023 campaign. In the process, he did manage three tackles, but no other noteworthy data were recorded.
