Breaking news: Jos Verstappen denies leaking ‘Christian Horner texts’ after ….

Following a “blazing row,” Jos Verstappen denies sharing “Christian Horner texts.”

Jos Verstappen, the father of the current world champion Max Verstappen, said that he and Christian Horner had a “blazing row” prior to the Bahrain Grand Prix, but he denied having anything to do with the “leaking” of the purported messages and pictures.

Since the beginning of February, Red Bull has been the subject of an internal inquiry into claims of “inappropriate behavior.” Nevertheless, Red Bull chose not to suspend its team principal during this time. That’s why Horner was at the RB20 unveiling and pre-season testing, where his presence dominated the news agenda.

On Wednesday, Horner was exonerated of all charges following the investigation, but the story did not end there. A Google Drive folder purportedly containing Horner’s WhatsApp communications and images was “leaked” to paddock reporters, team principals, and prominent F1 figures on Thursday.

Jos, whose relationship with Horner is said to be poor, denied any participation in the messages’ disclosure in an interview with the Daily Mail, saying, “That wouldn’t make sense.” Considering how well Max is doing here, why would I do that?

Even after qualifying on Friday, the father of the current world champion admitted that he and Horner had a “blazing row” in the paddock. Verstappen acknowledged that he went back to the team principal’s office to shake hands with Horner following the encounter.
