Breaking: NFL’s Suspicious Reaction to Las Vegas Raiders HC Antonio Pierce’s Violent Patrick Mahomes Tactics

Las Vegas Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce made headlines on Monday after his comments about newly-crowned three-time Super Bowl champion Patrick Mahomes surfaced

Following the public release of his remarks regarding the recently minted three-time Super Bowl champion Patrick Mahomes, head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders Antonio Pierce made news on Monday. When the Kansas City Chiefs star is facing Pierce on the field, Pierce practically acknowledged that his team comes in with the intention of hurting him.

Undoubtedly, the comment caused controversy and has now led to a cautious response from the league.

In a recent interview with Maxx Crosby for The Rush Podcast, Pierce essentially equated Mahomes to Michael Jordan, the all-time great of the NBA. The comparison did not concern their ability levels in their different sports, however, as Pierce disclosed his intention to take full advantage of every chance to go all Detroit Pistons on Mahomes:

That’s not exactly a novel strategy used by rival teams against one of the all-time great quarterbacks. This kind of speech, though, could be best kept under wraps rather than so openly available for public consumption.

Florio contends that the league could have simply released a statement stating that Pierce’s remarks were correct. It says a lot that they decided not to.

In any case, Pierce and the Raiders should anticipate a public or private censure or warning on this most recent scandal.
