Six Horned Frogs Invited to 2024 NFL Combine

An invitation to the 2024 NFL Combine in Indianapolis has been extended to six TCU players. Safety Millard Bradford, tight end Jared Wiley, offensive lineman Andrew Coker and Brandon Coleman, running back Emani Bailey, and cornerback Josh Newton are among the invitees.

Bradford played for Fort Worth for five seasons, under Sonny Dykes and Gary Patterson. He was a key member of TCU’s 2022 National Championship defense, which finished second, and he was again in 2023. The fifth-year safety had 54 tackles, five passes defended, two interceptions (including a pick-six) and one forced fumble in the previous year.

In place of Kendre Miller, Bailey assumed the role as TCU’s featured back. With 1,209 rushing yards and eight rushing touchdowns on 223 carries, he enjoyed a career year in 2023. Additionally, he hauled in 25 receptions for 184 yards and a score.

Coleman and Coker are both well-known members of TCU’s offensive line. Coleman was selected to the All-Big 12 Second Team in 2023, while Coker received the Honorable Mention All-Big 12 award in 2022. Additionally, he received honorable mention for Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year.

Jared Wiley rose to prominence as a fan favorite in just two seasons in Fort Worth. The massive tight end received the titles of massive 12 Offensive Player of the Year (Honorable Mention) and First-Team All-Big 12. In 2023, he caught 47 passes for 520 yards and two touchdowns. Against Baylor, he had his best performance of the season, hauling in seven passes for 178 yards and two scores.

In 2022 and 2023, Newton earned the titles of First-Team All-Big 12 and Second-Team All-Big 12. He contributed significantly to TCU’s incredible 2022 run for the national championship and played well despite a weak defense in 2023. In 2023, Newton recorded 33 tackles, one interception, and seven passes defensed.

Indianapolis will host the NFL Combine from February 26 to March 4.
