Rangers sign young attacker from Everton
The young talent has arrived at Ibrox, and the club announced on its official website [19 February] that Allen is excited to leave life at Goodison Park.
The next six months will be extremely exciting as the teenager joins Steven Smith’s Under-18s group ahead of the second half of the season.
Allen has been at Everton since he was just under ten years old, but he will continue to grow at Ibrox since there is ample proof that young players are given opportunities at the senior level.
Rangers complete an unnoticed Everton move
Allen has an excellent opportunity to advance in his football career by moving to Ibrox, where he will have an easy path to the first team.
The academy has turned forth many talented people, including Ryan Hardie in 2014, Alan Hutton in 2002, and John Fleck in 2008.
One of the best examples of this is Ross McCausland, who debuted in the first squad and maintained his spot in the starting lineup under Philippe Clement.
When it comes to his Rangers team, the Belgian seems to live by the adage “If you are good enough, you are old enough.” And it might only be a few years before the explosive forward plays in front of the Ibrox supporters.
