Ange Postecoglou could now start ‘unbelievable’ 21-year-old for Spurs against Brighton
The last time Tottenham played Everton, they led twice but were beaten, with the home team’s equalizer coming deep into stoppage time.
Postecoglou now has an almost fully fit squad, meanwhile, thanks to the return of all three of their recent international absentees to N17.
After competing at the Africa Cup of Nations, Pape Matar Sarr and Yves Bissouma have returned, while Son Heung-min has returned from the Asian Cup.Sarr did make a comeback last week, although he didn’t start the game against the Toffees; instead, he entered for the final 26 minutes.
Postecoglou, a 21-year-old midfielder for Tottenham, is now quite certain to start against Brighton, and he will undoubtedly have a significant impact.Sarr, who has numerous excellent qualities like work rate, defensive awareness, ball carrying, and off-the-ball activity, is essentially the glue that holds Spurs together.
At barely 21 years old, the “unbelievable” skill is already so important, and it will be interesting to watch how he develops further in the years to come.
Spurs were commended for acquiring Pape Matar Sarr. Although Sarr isn’t quite finished yet—for example, his passing and crossing could want some work—this is to be expected given his age.
He’s already far and away the finest professional player in the game, and if he keeps going in the same direction, he’ll undoubtedly rank among the top players in the world by 24–25.
Tottenham made a wise decision by signing him in front of fierce competition. Yes, going back
