Deion Sanders selects the new defensive coordinator for Colorado.
At Colorado, Deion Sanders will appoint a new defensive coordinator.
Robert Livingston, the secondary coach for the Cincinnati Bengals, is expected to be selected as the team’s new defensive coordinator. He is scheduled to visit Colorado on Wednesday. Livingston has served as Cincinnati’s secondary coach for the past eight years. He was trained by the well-respected Bengals defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo.
Since 2012, Livingston has been a member of the Bengals organization. He worked as an assistant at Vanderbilt for a while before that. Although this would be his first coordinator position of any kind, he has received recognition for his work with the Cincinnati defensive backs.
It makes sense that the Buffaloes will appear very different in 2024. Under Sanders, the squad had a strong start to the season but faltered in the latter stages and experienced a major coach exodus at the end of the run. Livingston brings NFL experience to the position as Sanders attempts to create a program that will last.
